Intellectual property

The editorial texts, visual identity and code of this site belong to its publisher. Voting results, by contrast, may be quoted and reused freely, provided VoteRoyale is credited as the source, along with the date of the measurement and a link to the match concerned — a score changes constantly, and a quotation without a date is meaningless.

Liability

Matches proposed by visitors are reviewed before publication, but their wording remains that of their author. Report anything you consider contrary to the charter and it will be re-examined.

Reporting unlawful content

Any visitor may report content they consider unlawful by writing to the contact address, stating the exact address of the page, the nature of the problem and, where possible, the legal basis relied on. Reports are examined as quickly as possible; content is removed if it breaks the law or the charter, and its author is informed where identifiable. A manifestly unfounded report, or one repeated for the sole purpose of removing a match whose result is unwelcome, will not be acted on.

Terms of use

Access to the site and voting are free and require no account. Using automated means to cast votes in bulk, to circumvent daily limits or to extract the site's content at scale is prohibited; voices obtained that way are removed from the scores and any associated account may be suspended, under the conditions set out in the terms of sale.

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. A technical interruption, maintenance or the closing of a match gives rise to no compensation; unused voices remain available for other matches.

Editorial pages sometimes link to outside sources. Those sites are not under our control and their content may change after we cite them: the link attests to the source consulted on the verification date shown on the page, not to the current state of the page linked to.

Accessibility

The site is built to remain usable by keyboard, with sufficient contrast and resizable text, and animations are disabled when the visitor's system asks for it. If you hit an accessibility barrier, report it: it is treated as a defect, not as a suggestion.
